OFC NICK YOUNG

Many will recognize "Officer Nick" from his frequent day-patrols of Parkway's schools, always ready with a high-five for arriving students.  In 2019, Nick joined Team Security as a roving School Safety Officer.  He began his security career in 2012 working as a security officer for Securitas in Longmont, Colorado.  Nick later accepted a position with Colorado's Division of Youth Services as a Juvenile Corrections Officer.  Here he found his niche − working with juvenile offenders in a Corrections environment.  When he returned to his hometown, St. Louis, Nick transferred right into a similar position with Missouri's Division of Youth Services.  Nick's work with juveniles has well prepared him for his role with Team Security.  He  brings to Parkway considerable and well-rounded security experience, particularly as related to our youth.

This Parkway alum graduated from Parkway South High in 2006.  He then attended SIU-Edwardsville and Upper Iowa University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Nick fills his spare time with many hobbies, including gaming, watching anime and superhero shows, working out, and partcipating in mixed martial arts.  Before becoming a mixed martial artist and professional wrestler, Nick earned multiple high school and college wrestling medals and trophies.  He hopes to one day coach a Parkway wrestling team.

Nick has proven to be versatile and dependable, dedicated to Team Security and its mission.  On his bucket list: Retire from Parkway Security after a long and successful career.
