    Career Awareness

    Age appropriate lessons and activities are presented to middle school students to help them learn more about their interests, abilities, as well as the world of work and the process of career decision making.  Classroom lessons, speakers and electronic portfolios help students plan for future education and employment.


    Individual Assessment/ Career Information

    Eighth grade students participate in the EXPLORE assessment and Missouri Connections program.  EXPLORE is a standardized measure designed to measure academic performance and help guide academic and career decisions.  Through the Missouri Connections program, students create an individual electronic portfolio of interests, as well as career and college information.  Once established, students may access and add to the portfolio throughout their educational career.


    Family Connections

    Family Connections is a comprehensive system used to explore interests, abilities and careers, as well as plan for college and other post-secondary education.  Students work with guidance counselors to use various components of this web site throughout middle school and high school.  Each student has created an individual account whicvh may be accessed from any internet location.  You may log on from our link:
