• Hello! My name is Joanna Busby and have been a mathematics teacher at South High for the past nine years. A fun little fact about me is that both my husband, Adam, and I grew up in the Parkway District, and graduated from South High! We are passionate about teaching students and we enjoy helping others. We have a a rescue dog named Ozzie who keeps us active, we volunteer at our church, attend mission trips to Barranquilla (Colombia), and serve on the worship team together. I am an avid collector of Rubik's Cubes, love to travel, and spend time with my family. 

    I received my Bachelors in Education degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia, my Masters in Mathematics from Webster University, and I am currently finishing my Specialist in Education through Southwest Baptist University. I love to learn! I have taught a variety of subjects within mathematics and it's hard to pick my favorite. I enjoy helping students overcome challenges and obstacles they thought were impossible!
