Hello! My name is Mrs. Gardner, and I am very excited about the upcoming school year at McKelvey! I will be teaching physical education and health at McKelvey. I was fortunate enough to do my student teaching at McKelvey in 2016 and taught the 2017-2018 school year and really look foward to seeing many of the students again! I am ready for an exciting, educational, and fun year!

Here is a little bit more about me: in my free time I coach softball and lacrosse. My husband and I enjoy walking our two dogs, named Moose and Lucy (both are rescue dogs) and also going on hikes and exploring trails. We love to find new ways to be active so we are constantly look for new opportunities to move. We plan to compete in a tough mudder sometime in the near future. 

I completed my studies at Truman State University, where I received my undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and my master's in Education.
