Give 4 November
Our employee season of giving is here! You have the opportunity to give back to our four district partner charities during Give 4 November.
As Parkway employees, we have historically supported the following four partner organizations in our community that benefit our students and families.
- Parkway Alumni Association
- Parkway Early Childhood Foundation
- United Way
- Arts and Education Council of St. Louis
The goal is for all of us to give back something, if we can, together!
Choose how you want to give
- One of the easiest ways to make your gift is through payroll deduction. When you complete your open enrollment this year in SmartBen, you will have a chance to choose your gift. Your gifts here will be deducted from your paycheck and donated to the charity or charities based on the amount you choose.
- Or, use the links below to give online to any of our partner organizations.
Together, if we all Give 4 November we will continue to support our partners and their ongoing commitment to Parkway students, families and our community.

Parkway Alumni Association
The Parkway Alumni Association uses 100 percent of your generous donation for the benefit of the people of Parkway! We provide the financial support for recognition programs that include Parkway’s Teachers of the Year, the Albert Awards for new teachers and the Light of Parkway Awards for operations staff. We also sponsor the Granting Dreams program by providing financial support and other resources for Parkway K-12 students who are motivated to go beyond the classroom to pursue their learning goals. In May 2020, we awarded $13,500 in grants to 240 Parkway students! Students used their grants for a wide array of educational purposes, including computer coding classes, leadership and sport camps, and musical instrument purchases. Some students could not afford an extracurricular learning experience without financial assistance from this program. For alumni, the PAA publishes a newsletter and offers communications support to reunion planners.

Parkway Early Learning Foundation
Every penny raised for the Parkway Early Learning Foundation goes directly to help our own Parkway students with preschool tuition for families who qualify. The first five years of a child’s development are critical for building healthy brain architecture. Our foundation ensures ALL children have access to high-quality early education regardless of financial barriers. We are getting our Parkway kids ready to enter your classrooms. Thanks for your support!

More than $1 million each week is invested in this community to help people through United Way. Forty-five percent of the agencies United Way funds have some type of program or service that serves children and youth. These services could include childcare, education, adoption, abuse prevention, mentoring, counseling, scouting or recreation. When you make a gift to United Way, you aren’t supporting one cause or one agency. You’re supporting a wide range of services that help people with a wide range of needs because United Way is here for the entire community.

Arts and Education Council
At the Arts and Education Council our goal is simple – to make sure our region is rich with arts and cultural experiences for all. In the wake of COVID-19, those in the arts community have experienced extreme hardship as venues have closed, performances have been canceled and arts educators have had to suddenly pivot to find new ways to teach their students using virtual and hybrid environments. Despite the challenges of COVID-19, the arts continue to build creativity, inspire kids, bridge cultural divides, energize communities, and enrich lives. Thanks to your support, the Arts and Education Council has been able to continue to offer financial support and resources to arts organizations and art educators across the bi-state region.
Your gift to the Arts and Education Council campaign will have a stabilizing effect on the St. Louis arts and culture industry. For a gift of $50 (less than $5 per month), you will receive an ARTS Card to access discounts for local art experiences including virtual events. We will also send you a curated bi-weekly Arts Educator Newsletter with local online educational tools, art projects for students at home, and news just for art educators. In this critical time of need, your gift to the Arts and Education Council ensures that the arts remain thriving, open, and welcoming to us and the community when we get past this pandemic.
Thank you for your support, and for doing your part to ensure that the arts will continue to thrive in our community in the months and years to come. Together, we keep art happening.
