1/3/25 - Parkway Schools invites our community to the third annual State of the District event on February 5 – an opportunity to celebrate the work our schools are doing and look toward the future. 

This year’s event is especially meaningful as we begin a new chapter, welcoming our next superintendent, Dr. Melissa Schneider while expressing gratitude to retiring Dr. Keith Marty for 14 years of dedicated leadership. 

Event highlights: 

• Meet Dr. Schneider and learn about her background, transition plan and excitement about becoming Parkway’s next leader. 

• In sessions led by district leaders, learn how our Strategic Plan is coming to life and supporting every student.

• Participate in opportunities to provide feedback on what you hear. 

• Enjoy performances by the West Middle School Orchestra and the Central High Choir. 

The event will be from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. on February 5 at Central High.
