    Welcome to the wonderful world of second grade! I am looking forward to a fun, rewarding and successful year with your child.

    My name is Brigitte Barnhart and I am beginning my 12th year of teaching. This marks my ninth year in second grade and I have previously taught 3rd and 4th grade at McKelvey. I love working with children and I consider myself lucky that I get to spend each day molding young minds!
