In 2020, Luke joined Parkway as a day patrol officer and quickly became an invaluable member of the Security team, eventually working his way up to the Lieutenant's position as our second-in-command.  

Luke was an Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic before making his way to Parkway during the COVID-19 pandemic. His passion for life-saving medical interventions led him to spearhead several training programs for our team, better preparing them to respond to emergency medical calls.  Luke assisted in providing the department with new equipment, including AEDs and MCI (Mass Casualty Incident) first aid kits. 

In addition to his emergency medical expertise, Luke is an experienced law enforcement communications officer and Emergency Dispatcher.  Luke was certified by the MSHP as a MULES operator.  In 2018, Luke was awarded the Pacific Police Department's Communications Officer Of The Year in recognition of his skills in handling 911 calls from suicidal subjects, domestic violence victims and those reporting acute medical emergencies.
