Chief Michael Christian
Welcome back!
Chief Michael Christian, a West High School alum, returned to Parkway in the fall of 2022 as Chief of Security. In the summer of 2023, Mike took on additional duties and now also directs district Emergency Management operations.
Mike attended MIZZOU, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1992. After college, Mike graduated from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Academy and served as a St. Louis City Police Officer for 3-1/2 years before joining the Chesterfield Police Department. During his tenure with Chesterfield Police, Mike accepted an appointment as an FBI Special Agent, graduating from the FBI Academy in May of 1998.
Mike's first assignment with the FBI was Organized Crime and Violent Crime in Chicago, 1998-2007. From 2007-2021, Mike worked Violent Crime and Fugitives in the FBI's St. Louis office. He served as the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) Coordinator and the Fugitive Task Force (FTF) Coordinator, where St. Louis was a top performer. Mike was awarded the FBI Medal of Excellence for his Fugitive Task Force work.
Mike brings to Parkway Security 28 plus years' law enforcement experience - 23 with the FBI! Team Security is honored to have Mike at the helm and looks forward to many great achievements under his leadership.
